Concert in Ysgol Tudno
Posted: 27 May, 2016
This Tuesday in Ysgol Tudno over 40 pupils -violinists, guitarists and flautists took part in a concert for the whole school. Performing in different group sizes from solos to large groups they played a variety of music including the theme tune from “Eastenders” and “Seven Years” by Lukas Graham. The summer term is when young musicians in many of our primary schools perform to other pupils, teachers and sometimes parents to show and share what they have been learning this year. What a lovely way to celebrate success!
PS Good luck to all those competing in the Urdd Eisteddfod next week!

Conwy Music Service Concert
Posted: 09 May, 2016
Llanrwst Music Centre held a terrific concert in St Mary’s Church, Betws y Coed last week! We were entertained by instrumental groups and soloists, with some of the County’s more senior players inspiring the younger ones with their playing. Congratulations to all those who took part and good luck to all the soloists who are going forward to take part in the Urdd finals! Thanks also to the Reverend Stuart Ellis and St Mary’s for providing such a lovely venue and encouraging such a big audience to attend!
